Found this in the Horse, the section, "The gospel according to Charlie," in #99, June 2010.

"...If you found yourself at the end of a gun right now, I'd bet you wouldn't regret not spending just a little more time at work or making just a couple more dollars or what have you. So instead of putting it all off until you're too old or incapacitated to do anything else, make the most of what idle time you have while you have it. Drink deeply of il dolce di far niente. Life is too short to buy into all the bullshit and drama that we are so commonly dragged into. As long as you can keep making things happen, you really don't need to be busy all the damn time."

Also, because I can't post without a picture. This quote reminded me of this.

Just came to the realization that if I plan on riding for the next couple of years, this is the bike I get. Not a bad deal at all, it does mean however that I will not be able to obtain that beautiful, trashed, basket-case shovel. So, working with what I have, I got some beer-motivation tonight and decided to take some shit apart. She's got potential. I was extremely happy with what was under that huge stock rear fender. My old man's checkin' into a trailer fender tomorrow (he's a foreman at a local flatbed manufacturer), and we'll see what we have from there.

Killin' it.

One of my favorite choppers, kurpius' on the right.

I'm bitchin' again. Just a warning. I can not express how much I hate these things. They annoy the piss out of me. Affliction shirts. If you're reading my blog and you are an affliction shirt wearer, I just want you to know that I want to punch you in the throat. My internal douche-o-meter, can only handle so much.

But there is still time for you folks. You can return to macy's or the buckle, where hardcore homies hang out, and return the shirt. Or you can keep being a douche. Your call.

The weekend thus far

I've been away for a bit, I've been in Kansas City, trainin' for a new job. Got back yesterday and I haven't had much time to take pics. I'm gonna head out yet again, so I'll keep the words short this time and let the pics speak.

On a ride today with mom 'n pops.
Dad found this at a truck stop. I'm regretting not playing it. Harley video game, we shall meet again.

I am personally not a fan of saddlebags, that's just me, but I have them on my bike, and here's why.

These stickers came in from FTWCO! I believe I got them off of a link on the Church of Choppers blog. All I had to do was send 'em an email with my address on it and they sent them. The paper says a bit about, which I think is a great idea. I am definetly going to log on there. So yeah, go read their blog, get the stickers, go to I'm assuming that if you're reading this, then you don't have much else to do anyways. --Jimmy

Waterville, Kansas

It was a nice, short ridin' day.

Waterville Lake.
